NO! Emails like this are a sneaky kind of spam sent out by scammers trying to trick you into paying them an enormous amount of money for something that is completely unnecessary.
You will NOT lose your search engine placement if you ignore these emails, and you will NOT lose your domain or any part of your web site as they claim. They are trying to use fear to trick you out of your hard-earned money.
Most of these emails are sent from a throwaway free email address - that is, a temporary address like "domain"(plus some numbers) @hotmail.com, or @yahoo.com, or @gmail.com, or some other easy-to-obtain anonymous free email address. After the scammer obtains payment and credit card information from several people (victims), the scammers delete their free email account and they switch to another email address. So when you realize you have been scammed, and worse, that your credit card is now being used all over the world without your knowledge, you have no way to contact the scammer because their email address is no longer working.
Here is an example of the spam emails this scammer sends out:
DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM. Just delete the email/s.
